Boston Foundation receives its largest gift.

(Oct.) The $50 million gift comes from the sale of majority shares of Community Associates, a Billerica educational technology company. The company had recently transferred the majority of its ownership to the Iowa State University Foundation, which received $150 million from the sale as well.
